Mark C. Jensen - Chairman / Chief Executive Officer:
Mark has been an operator, investor and consultant in various natural resources and energy businesses. He has been highly involved in the navigation of numerous growth businesses to mature businesses. Mark has significant experience with major Wall Street firms such as Citigroup and graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with a BS in Finance and International Studies with a focus on Business. Mark also studied in Sydney Australia through Boston University completing his International Studies degree with a focus on East Asian culture and business.

Thomas M. Sauve - President / Director:
Tom has been involved a number of energy related businesses. Prior he had been an investor and partner in various natural resources assets over the last seven years including coal mining operations and various oil and gas wells throughout Texas and the Appalachia region. Tom received his Bachelors degree in Economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Rochester, New York, with additional studies at the Simon Graduate School of Business.

Kirk P. Taylor, CPA - Chief Financial Officer:
Kirk has been the Chief Financial Officer of American Resources Corporation or its subsidiaries since 2016. In his role, he is responsible for all financial reporting tax compliance and treasury management. Prior to joining the Company, Kirk was an auditor with K.B Parrish & Co, LLP through beginning in 2013, Katz Sapper & Miller, LLP beginning in 2011 and CohenReznick beginning in 2002. While with those firms he focused on audit, financial reporting and tax compliance with operating entities and investment partnership utilizing various types of tax efficient investments. Based upon Mr. Taylor’s experience we believe that he is well suited to lead in the organization in financial operations, financing and internal controls.

Adam B. Jensen - Director of Human Resources:
Adam has significant experience in startup operations in the natural resource industry including bringing four coal mines into production and expanding the business from a startup to over $60 million in revenue annualized in less than 15 months organically. Adam has served over fifteen years in the military, six years in the Marine Corp Reserves, five years in the Army with the 101st Airborne division and four years in the national guard. He was deployed to Iraq for two tours of duty including being selected as an elite member of the Military Transition Team responsible for training and conducting combat missions with the Iraqi Army and received a Bronze Star with a V for his service in Iraq. Adam received his bachelor’s degree from the University of St Francis, with additional studies at Ball State University, where he was a member of the football team.

Dr. Greg Q. Jensen, Esq., PhD - Vice President & Internal Counsel:
Greg is an EVP and the Internal Counsel focusing on legal and business due diligence and operational oversight. Prior Greg served as a Judge Advocates General (JAG) Officer in the United States Marine Corps, where he was stationed in San Diego, CA. Prior to the Marine Corps. Greg also served as an adjunct lecturer at Indiana University as well as an intern in the Washington D.C. office of Indiana Senator Evan Bayh. Greg’s academic background includes a BS in Finance from the Kelley School of Business and a PhD in Human Performance from Indiana University as well as a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. While at Indiana University Greg was a member of the varsity football team where he earned two varsity letters and is a member of the Indiana State Bar.

Mark J. LaVerghetta – Vice President of Corporate Finance & Communications:
Mark assists the Quest management team with all roles relating to Corporate Finance, Communications, and Investor Relations. Prior to joining the Quest team, Mark spent 20 years performing various distribution roles with several Wall Street firms including Legg Mason, Alex. Brown & Sons, Deutsche Bank Securities, Ferris Baker Watts, and Avondale Partners. He received his Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Virginia, where he was a member of the varsity lacrosse team. In his spare time, Mark serves his community by volunteering on a community / parish board of directors while also coaching youth soccer and lacrosse.

Rex Frohnapfel - Vice President of Coal Operation:
Rex oversees the daily ongoing development and monitoring at the operations and parent company. His duties includes monitoring the performance and progress of mine expansion as well as the performance metrics of the miners and contract miners. Rex has substantial experience and exposure in the mining industry, handling the transportation logistics and trucking for several years and working with several mining operations to assist in strategic development. A native of Ohio and a graduate of Ohio Northern University, Rex moved to eastern Kentucky early in his career to work in the coalfields and in his free time he coaches wrestling at the local high school.

David M. Sauve – Vice President of Finance:
David manages the company’s purchasing, sales, and operations data and assists the company’s Chief Financial Officer with cash flow, income statement, and balance sheet analyses. Prior to joining American Resources Corporation, he worked in project management in the oil and gas industry helping oversee the construction process of midstream pipelines. David received his Bachelor’s degree in mathematics with a focus in actuarial and financial mathematics from the University at Albany, SUNY.

Quest LNG – LNG/CNG Operational Team:
Quest LNG, based in the United States Virgin Islands, is provider of supply, storage, and distribution of Liquefied Natural Gas (“LNG”) and Compressed Natural Gas (“CNG”) to the Caribbean marketplace. Quest LNG’s focus is on providing the highest quality and most cost-effective fuel source for power generation, industrial use and vehicle fuel to the Caribbean which currently utilize almost exclusive fuel oil for electrical generation.
